Hey peeps!

Wow, this must've been the longest period of time I've stayed away from my blog page. A lot has happened, a lot have changed, a lot has passed and I've gone through and learned a lot of things in the past months that I've been away from my blog. Mostly, it's something to do with life, my life. Who's here to stay, who I can rely on, who's who and what's what. What should be done and what shouldn't.

I believe, the last time I updated my blog, it was before I'd started work. I started looking for jobs in january and had worked at 2 places since. One was a company where I had to do telesales, a business development company.

Business development is whereby the company would set up conferences, talks or seminars on ways to improve a particular department or position in an organisation. It's not a bad place to work in actually. You'd get to learn a lot about many companies. How they work, what they do, what a specific department does, gain sales experience and ways to talk/persuade people and many more. Yes, it may be hard at first but it basically needs you to improve on your personal and communications skills. After about 3-5 phone calls or so, you'll get the hang of it.

Then, I joined the Customer Service line in a different company, which, I fell in love with. Not only the place and the people there, the job itself. I enjoyed helping the customers with the queries. The benefits and the environment there was wonderful. The work wasn't really stressful if you look at it in a positive way. The only time where you'd feel stressed or pressured is when you get a disputive customer. You can't really blame them for being so, I mean, if you had a problem with a certain product, I'm pretty sure you'd be pissed off as well right?

Some things were unavoidable or unsolvable from my end which I had to escalate to another or relevant department to handle the case, others were alright. It was easy for you to earn extra money each month. You could either do over time, get compliments or even perfect attendance would be taken into account for your incentives. The pay was very good.

One important thing though, that I learned through this journey into the working world. If you're sic, not well or have a medical condition, please, and i emphasize, PLEASE make sure you're really medically fit for the job you choose or at least make sure you have a proper medication for what ever condition that you have. Taking too many medical leaves, be it paid, unpaid leave, and whether you're a permanent or contract employee, will jeopardize your career, especially if you're working in a call centre environment where time and progress is very essential and important for you to excel in the company or department.

In the past, I used to think that working in a call centre or as a customer service consultant wasn't really a big thing. But now, after having experiencing it myself, it actually is. In fact, here in Malaysia, they're a growing career choice. Some place even requires you to have a diploma or degree to get into their CS department. The pay is good, a bundle of allowances and a whole lot of incentives to be collected. And if your communications skills are on par with their requirements, with a bit of patience, discipline and commitment, you'd climb up their corporate ladder in no time.

I guess this time, I'll just stop here. A walk through, a glimpse of the working world and environment from my eyes. Hope there's some useful info for you peeps. Till next time, hope you guys all the best in life, no matter what you choose to do, may you do it at your best!

Best wishes,
Qarper

Randomness

Hello peeps! It's been a while huh? Sorry, been busy with college and stuff you call life huhuhu. Just a random though(or in this case, post). I've been thinking about a little bit of the future lately.

What does it hold? What does it have in store for me? Will I be successful? Or at least, have a decent life? I'm pretty sure I have what it takes to survive the world but what IF I can't show my true 'powers'? As in, I don't know how or not confident enough?

I've got another four years, give and take, for me to finish up my degree and get a job. Then what? How will I know that I'm all ready to take the real challenge of life? Well, a very wise man that I kinda sorta look up to once told me this. "You are too mature for your stage of life. You think like an adult, mature like an adult in most aspects of life, but you have to behave like a learning, studying, college going student."

What he meant is that I've started thinking about marriage, work and saving up money for a wedding and my future. Where as what I should really concentrate on is my studies first. If I don't have that as a foundation in my life, then how the heck am I supposed to build my own 'house' in my life? Even the strongest and tallest of buildings have small but solid foundation underneath.

So, as usual. Here's something you could all ponder about. Would those of us who has skills in study knowledge be more likely to survive or those of us who have more people skills and practical skills would?

Have fun pondering,
Sincerely random,
Qarper

The Beginning Of A New Ending

All my life I've been failing and falling more than I have succeeded and climbed up. Until when? I won't be able to fall and get up all the time. There will be a time where I'll fall and break my legs so it would be much harder for me to get back up again. Or worse, I'll fall and be paralyzed and will never be able to get back up again.

From every perspective of my life, be it studies, love, home, friends, even life itself, I've got to change and get back on the right track. I should not let anyone or anything stand in my way to reach my goals in life. Maybe, if I can't get something, instead of grieving and being upset about it, I should just change the path slightly and take a detour to get there. I'd still be reaching my destination, just a little differently than how I originally planned.

Not everything we want, we will get. Not everything we hate, we'd be able to avoid. If that's God's will, than so be it. He gives us that because he has a good plan in stored for us. The ones that He loves are the ones that He'll test. So, be patient, and God's will, you patience will not be in vain. It would instead be repaid with something much better than what you had before.

So peeps, if you get hit and fall down, please do not fret. It's normal. Like when we were babies, we couldn't walk straight away after we were born. We had to learn through many steps until we knew how to walk properly, then later on run. We crawled, sat down, stood up, learned to take baby steps and get used it before we were ever able to walk. So don't worry, we all need to take baby steps.

Whenever you're down peeps, just remember this. You choose how you want to end up living in the future. Plan ahead and do it now, whatever changes that needs to be done. Get back up slowly, baby steps if you have to. Because why? Slowly, but surely you'll get there.

Yours truly,
Qarper.

Herris Delicious Corner

Haha, for those of you who loves food, wants a nice, cozy and chilling place to chill at, this is the place for you guys. If you're a student and decide to do your assignments here and need to use the internet, the WiFi here uses Unifi! Awesome speed, haha! xD

This restaurant has Malay, Arabian, Thai and Western food. Meatballs here are awesome! Frankly speaking, better than this one place I know that's famous for their meatballs heheh. Anyways, this restaurant is located in Damansara Perdana. Very near to Friendscino(previously known as Friendster Cafe). When Friendscino is on your left, just go ahead straight and follow the road for a few more meters and it's on your right.

This is where I'm updating this post from.
Yours truly,

Happy New Year

Hey peeps, been a long while huh? Yeah, i know. I've been busy and a whole lot of things going on in my mind. Just wanna wish you all happy new year (I know, a very belated one)! Hope you all had blast during new year's eve. As for me, well. Let's just say it was kinda different and not how I expected it would be this year. I felt surrounded by people yet, alone at the same time. Weird huh? Tell me about it, heheh.

Nothing would go as planned if you don't follow through thoroughly. Especially if there are other people involved in your plan as well. You may plan to go to hang with a friend, but then you'd say or feel tired and cancel it and it won't happen. You may plan to keep a free time for a certain someone but won't be able to do anything except feel rejected.

So, how was your new year's? Good? Great? Wonderful? Awesome? Whatever and however it was, I wish a mostly wonderful year is in store ahead for you! Will update again pretty soon.

Till then,
Happy New Year!

Death

Hey peeps, it's been a long while now huh? Well, today I feel like talking about something different. Instead of the old usual love and life topic, I kinda wanna talk about death today.

So,whadya think of when the word death comes into your head? Let me tell you what comes to my mind. I'll think about how much longer I have to live, how I'm going to live my life, would I have a happy life till the day i die or not? There are just too many things that'd be running through my mind for me to list down every single one here. But the most important one is, who would be sad or even notice when i seize to exist.

Would anyone even care if I died? Would they even be feeling the tinniest slightest of difference in their lives when I'm gone? Well, this is why I think of these things. Right now, i feel like noone would even notice my death. Or at least, cared if I died. I feel as though even the closest ones with me and the ones I love the most wouldn't feel that much of a difference. I don't think I've ever left any sort of impact on anyone's life before.

In fact, lately, I've been feeling like there's lack of love from those I'm supposed to feel like I'm getting love from. The difference is just great! I just hope that I'd be able to make the best of it. Even if it means doing everything needed to do to make them happy in the future. No point if they're not happy with you now and just treat you like they're just forced to do so.

Everyone deserves a good happy life. Remember peeps, don't treat people like how you don't like to be treated. Treat them how you'd like to be treated. I follow this because, karma's a bitch and it'll get back right up to you and bite you in the ass. Just time could tell when.

That'll be all for now heh. God, give me strength to survive this and not effect the others around me unless they really do love and care for me. Please let me be strong to face this!

Love,
Qarper
